From time to time we all need some tough love. Someone who loves us enough to tell us the truth in love, not to tear us down, but build us up.
In comparison, an iron blade is forged in the fire, shaped, hammered and resharpened regularly, in order to prolong it's usefulness. Often improvement and refinement of rough dull edges requires enduring heat and pressure.
